It was quiet at night despite being just off a popular street, and there is a nice pool and a rooftop patio area (uncovered when raining). The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, often acknowledging me by name as I came and went. The location is wonderfully nestled in amongst a number of restaurants, ranging from street food to steak houses. If you are here for a tattoo, this is the place you'll want. It appears Tanaga can be quite pricey in high season, but I scored a very nice deal on booking.com during low season for a fraction of the usual price.
