Fantastic hotel! Very good price with good location and service. The room actually looks way better then the picture. Close to anywhere you wanna go.

The Scooter was also in a very bad condition and came with a completely empty tank.

We opted for this... read more 20–room boutique hotel with shared kitchen/coworking space as we were working abroad, however it also caters perfectly for leisure traveler’s. The hotel is quite new and well maintained. Our room was spacious and equipped with essentials like a SmartTV, shower gel, shampoo, safe, mini fridge and coffee/tea mugs. The hallway offered a complimentary drinking water dispenser. The room was cleaned every other day. The shared working space (outside, which can be a bit warm in the afternoon) was comfortable and WiFi was relatively good. The hotel offered additional (paid) amenities such as laundry service, cold drinks and coffee (latte/cappuccino). Shared kitchen is modern, clean and has all cooking essentials. Situated centrally in Seminyak, the location is surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars, and supermarkets (Circle K next to the hotel, large supermarkt such as Frestive or Bintang market 8-10 minute walk). Highly recommended spots include Bo&Bun, District One cocktail bar, and Palmy for budget-friendly Indonesian meals. Beach is 20-25 minute walk. Clubs like La Favela 15 minutes. Any drawbacks? The only noteworthy point is a window connecting the hallway, bathroom, and bedroom, allowing some light into the room, so it’s not completely dark (which did not bother us). Despite being labeled a coliving hotel, we wouldn’t describe the hotel as very social. We did have a few interactions in the kitchen, but most people are doing their own thing and it’s not very easy to meet people in the common areas. We would have liked it if the hotel would organize some events to meet other people. In addition, the kitchen/fridge organization could have been better (I.e. stickers to label food and/or more storage bins for each room). Lastly, power outlets at the large tables in the co-working space would be welcome. At the moment you can only charge while sitting at the bar. In summary, our time at Tanaga was thoroughly enjoyable, making it an excellent choice for both digital nomads and leisure travelers. Highly recommended!
